Once again Mimi has painted a piece of furniture for The Friends Program, Concord, NH.  This is the 10th anniversary for the Friends Finding Friends Auction which is a major fund raiser for the orginization.  In brief, area artists paint pieces of furniture which are then displayed with downtown Concord sponsors for the month of May.  Online bidding starts on May 1, 2009 with the live auction on May 29th at the Grappone Auction Center.   This year,  Mimi has depicted two snuggled up fawns painted on a table top.  Her inspiration for this is as follows: "My general philosophy is to record the beautiful life in nature that surrounds us.  The "Twins" (two fawns) was inspired by seeing twin fawns with their mom on the edge of a field".  For more info on this event go to The Friends Program web site: www.friendsprogram.org

This spring, one of Mimi's paintings will be raffled off as part of a fund raising event for The Warner Historical Society, Warner, NH.  For more information on The Warner Historical Society go to:  www.warnerhistorical.org.

The oil painting that is to be raffled off is framed oil painting of the Waterloo Covered Bridge.
